Genuine Health Group announces the appointment of David P. Wagner, MURP, MHCM, CPME to the position of Chief Compliance Officer. Mr. Wagner will oversee and manage adherence to professional standards, assess risk for Miami Accountable Care Organizations, and serve as a strategist for Genuine Health.
Mr. Wagner previously served as Chief Compliance Officer for Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and Next Generation ACOs, where he served a crucial role in maintaining compliance with federal regulations. In addition to his work supervising the application process for ACOs and Next Generations ACOs, he worked extensively on implementing performance reporting technology for ACO participants and providers.

Mr. Wagner, who has thirty-plus years of experience in the healthcare industry, has developed reporting systems for physician ACO participant performance, including delivery of care, population health, and reduction in per capita cost of care. He has designed and implemented workflow documents, policies, and procedures; trained staff in medical records auditing and data collection; and acted as project manager.
Mr. Wagner earned his master’s degree in healthcare management, summa cum laude, from the University of New Orleans. He completed his undergraduate degree in international business and finance at Loyola University New Orleans.
